Update on Recent Server Issue

On January 22, 2024, between 17:00 and 21:00 (UTC +0), BTCC encountered an unexpected technical issue that temporarily disrupted parts of our service. The sudden surge in trading activity on that day, coupled with the significant growth in our user base over recent months, led to server overload and service interruptions. Subsequently, we conducted a thorough investigation into the incident and implemented extensive measures, including a server upgrade to 12 times the previous capacity, to prevent any recurrence.

 

We have already compensated eligible users who were affected by the incident, ensuring they received full restitution. Additionally, we also distributed a 20 USDT coupon along with 10 USDT in trading funds as compensation to users who experienced login issues during that period.

 

We deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused and take full responsibility for the incident. BTCC is committed to addressing such matters with the utmost seriousness.
