What you need to know before depositing

1. Deposit security
BTCC provides 3D-Secure security protocol, which is a security protocol designed to improve security and strengthen identity verification when you use a debit or credit card for online shopping. Depending on the card type, 3D-Secure can be called ""MasterCard SecureCode"", ""Visa Authentication Service"", and American Express credit card is called ""Safekey"". When you make future transactions, you may need to provide a special security code to the issuing bank so that the bank can authorize online transactions on the payment page. Card issuing banks have different ways to generate and display these codes, so if you don’t know your 3D-Secure passcode or password and cannot register online in the bank’s pop-up window, please contact your bank. Please note that this is not your BTCC account password.


2. How to get 3D-Secure code?
The 3D-Secure code is provided by the issuing bank and is different from your BTCC password. The issuing bank can provide you with details on how to register to obtain the 3D-Secure code. If you have never obtained the 3D-Secure code for this card, you may find that the bank registration method is now easier. For example, in the 3D-Secure verification screen provided by the bank, useful options such as ""Forgot Code?"" or similar messages will be displayed. Otherwise, please contact your bank.


3. What should I do if I have not received the 3D-Secure code?
If you fail to register or remind your password in the pop-up window on the payment page, please contact your bank.


4. Can I refuse to enter the 3D-Secure code?
If you want to pay with a credit or debit card, you cannot refuse it.
